Cookie Policy
Last updated: 5 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Anomalia uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website. By continuing to use our site you agree to the use of cookies as described here.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, improve the user experience and provide information to the site owners.
2. How we use cookies
We use the following types of cookies:
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the service to function — for example, to keep you signed in. They cannot be switched off.
Analytics cookies
With your consent, we use PostHog and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the product is used, measure page performance and improve the experience. These cookies store a persistent identifier so we can recognise returning visitors.
Session replay cookies
With your consent, Microsoft Clarity records interactions (clicks, scrolls, page navigation) so we can identify UX issues and fix them. Recordings are anonymised — we do not capture keystrokes in password fields.
3. Anonymous analytics (no consent required)
We also run PostHog in a cookieless, anonymous mode that does not store any cookies and does not use a persistent identifier across sessions. Because the data is fully anonymised, this processing runs without requiring your consent under the GDPR and the Italian Garante's guidelines.
4. Managing your preferences
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page. You can also clear cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent the service from working.
5. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are placed by third-party services we use:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| PostHog | Product analytics |
| Microsoft Clarity | Usage analytics and session replay |
| Stripe | Subscription billing and payment processing |
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
