# Webflow integration

Publish the articles Anomalia writes for you directly to your Webflow CMS — instead of (or alongside) the hosted blog. Once connected, every article you publish is created as a CMS item on your site on auto-pilot.

## Before you start

- A Webflow site on a **CMS plan or higher** (needed for API access).
- A **CMS Collection** for blog posts (e.g. "Blog Posts"). Create one if it doesn't exist.

## Setup

In Webflow go to _Site settings → Apps & integrations → API access_ and click **Generate API token**. Name it anything, e.g. "Anomalia Blog Sync".

Enable exactly these two scopes, then generate and copy the token:

- `CMS: Read & Write`
- `Sites: Read Only`

The token is shown once — copy it before leaving the page.

Open your brand's **Blog** page → **Integrations**, click the **⋮** menu on the Webflow row, and paste the API token. Anomalia validates it and auto-detects your site.

Choose the **CMS Collection** new articles should go into, and whether to publish immediately or save as a draft. Anomalia auto-maps the fields: the title becomes the item _Name_, the slug becomes the item _Slug_, and the article body goes into the collection's **Rich Text** field. Then flip the **switch** on the Webflow row to turn it on as a publish destination — toggle it off any time to pause without losing your token.

From the Blog page, publish (or re-publish) any article. It appears in your Webflow _CMS → your blog collection_. Re-publishing updates the same item instead of creating a duplicate.

## Troubleshooting

- **No collection appears.** Re-paste the token and confirm it has `CMS: Read & Write` + `Sites: Read Only`, and that your site has a CMS collection.
- **Publish fails.** Confirm the token is valid, the collection still exists, and your content fits Webflow's field limits.
- **Content looks off.** How the article renders depends on your Webflow template binding the Rich Text field. Anomalia sends clean semantic HTML.
- **Token regenerated?** The old token stops working immediately — paste the new one in the ⋮ menu.
