# Credits & limits

Credits meter AI usage across Anomalia. Paid plans also include rolling chat windows so a single burst of conversation can’t burn the whole month in one sitting.

## How credits work

Every AI action spends credits from your brand’s monthly allowance. Credits reset with your billing period.

As a rule of thumb, **100 credits ≈ €2.40 / $2.50 of official API value** — the same framing we show next to each plan on Pricing. That number is the public API value of the included capacity, not a promise about how far any one workflow goes.

**Go is the best API deal.** Higher tiers unlock capabilities (autopublish, connected socials, more Radar sources) — not a cheaper € of API per euro spent.

## Monthly credits by plan

API value follows the EUR/USD toggle on Pricing. Annual billing does not change credits or API value.

## Chat rate limits

Chat has two extra ceilings on top of the monthly quota. They only count **chat turns** (and chat compaction). Autopilot, Studio, blog, Radar, SEO, and other tools spend monthly credits only — they do not fill these windows.

Windows are **sliding** : we look at the last 5 hours and the last 7 days from now. If you hit a limit, chat pauses until enough older spend ages out — the UI shows the exact resume time (e.g. “You can resume at 14:30”).

## What counts where

-   **Counts toward chat windows** — Messages you send in brand chat, plus background compaction of long threads.
-   **Monthly credits only** — Editorial plan, Studio generation, blog articles, Radar, SEO/GEO, automations, and other non-chat AI.
-   **Both** — Every chat turn also deducts from your monthly credit balance.
